The Beat Within gratefully acknowledges the generous support of our partners, funders and donors. These contributions inform us that there is a growing community of people who deeply care about the welfare of incarcerated youth. We all agree that, historically, a punitive system has not provided adequate opportunities and support for youth offenders to rehabilitate and reconcile their mistakes.

Through reading the writings from The Beat Within workshops, most of us have learned something new about the juvenile justice system. We have found the potential for change and growth for youth in the juvenile justice system to be immense.
